Agave

Agave might be most known for Tequila, invasive babies and 100 year flowers but it had been used as a paper source since the Aztec Empire.

They make a wonderful barrier structure when arranged in rows and thank you for maintaining them by producing pups that can be divided and planted elsewhere creating a new mother plant.

Certain varieties are fast growing and without pups can spread to be over 20ft, so be cautious where you plant them as they can become invasive in as little as five years.
